Diversity and Inclusion - Being Together
Men Mentoring Men (M3®) strives to fully embrace an inclusive culture that welcomes all men into a community of mutual caring and connectedness.
M3® encourages compassionate candor and listening with an open heart.
We welcome the diversity of our membership in terms of education, opinions, culture, ethnicity, race, nation of origin, age, languages spoken, veteran’s status, color, religion, disability, sexual orientation and beliefs.
We strive to wholly accept ourselves and others with the courage to share our individual differences, life experiences, thoughts, feelings, humor, challenges, successes and vulnerabilities.
We recognize we are at our best when we remain humble, curious, and remain open to dialogue, reflection, and learning.
We grow and change by learning from each other recognizing the many people have been marginalized. Our ability to do so is strengthened by expanding both the range and depth of our relationships.
We do our best to take responsibility for what we think, feel, say, do and the impact it has on others.
We honor our differences, finding we have much more in common than we often realize.
We strongly disavow racism and stand in solidarity with the people impacted by systemic racism and violence.
While we are an organization of men, we honor and support women's equality, and condemn gender disparities, domestic violence, and sexual discrimination.
We will increase our efforts to further diversify our membership and seek to better understand how we can behave more inclusively and equitably.
